i ounce met a dj at my school dance who had the full hookup. he asked me what i used for my production. i told him honestly "FL Studio 5". he laughed until i asked him what was so funny. he got up and turned around his laptop and showed me his, he had garage band pro (or something like that) and a large amount of really high quality vsts that you know by looking that they werent cheep. he gave me a smirk and said "you you dont have the best of the best, your not ever gonna make anything worth a damn". i replied simply. "an instument is only as good as the person who plays it" VST or otherwise.

this is what i use for music production

1 - outdated FL Studio 5 XXL producer Edition (it was free so idc)
2 - various free VSTis
3 - cheap Sony headset
4 - no MiDi keyboard, i use reg cpu keyboard
5 - no soundboard
6 - no mixer
7 - and to top it all off, no cpu. thats right i dont even have my own cpu, i have to carry all my sofware around on a cheap 1 gig flash drive! you jave no idea how hard it is to produce under these conditions! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! :P

just recieved Slayer 2, Toxic 3, and Packs 1 and 2. yay : D

things to get

1 - MIDI keyboard so i dont have to use they regular keyboard
2 - my own cpu so i dnt have to use my moms slow as hell one
3 - get a good choir vsti
4 - get a good strings and brass vsti
5 - get a better sounding piano vsti
6 - get some drum samples that are actually worth a damn

the new song that i have been working on called "the dark tower" will not be coming anytime soon even though its almost done with its early stages. In order to complete the song i need the full version of the "Magnus Choir VSTi" which goes aropund $29.00. i have been trying to find altrernatives to getting it but all have failed, lets just say the the song isnt due for a long while my friends.

Dark Tower Rundown

The Dark tower is a slightly dark sounding track with a nice work of string orchistration along with a good assortment of FX used to give it its dark tone.

noticed im kinda starting to get a hand at things in the newgrounds world, and thats good to know, got kinda a little rep (yes i know its very small but its better than none at all like alot of other fellow newgrouners) got one guy whos making a little bass song using the sound effect track i made and another guy wanting to use my dark atmoshere track in a trailer he is making for something (I sure ws hell wouldnt mind being the main and only audio contributer to a flash project). looks like things are starting to look well for me. well, all i can hope for is for things to get even better, as for now i need to brainstorm on new ideas for songs and ambience lol. Cheers to all the peaple who have helped me out along the way and kept me up when i was down and hope you guys have a very merry christmas and get everything you wanted (exept for the BMW, im pretty sure your not getting the BMW lol).

just finnished a new track, its inspired by asian music as you im sure have guessed. i beleave its better than even the golden army wich i made along time ago (i still odnt think it was that good, but hey, your the ones who voted) i beleave this is gonna be the best track yet. however if you wnna hear it tuff, it wont be submitted until tomorrow, which im sure that you all know, is CHRISTMAS EVE. happy holidays everyone and be sure to check this track out when it is submitted.
